Is there really such a thing as a broken heart?

Can you be touched so deeply by someone or something that when they aren't around you feel like dying inside?

Better yet- Define being touched.
You can touch someone's soul, you can touch someone's heart. Touch is as much a mental feeling as a physical feeling, and in some cases even more important than physical touch.

This picture came out of my head lastnight and took me until about two in the morning to finish. I dont know why it hit me so hard to get this done, i'm usually not inspired much anymore- especially when it comes to traditional media.

Every aspect of this picture means something to me- right down to the feathers used on the arrow, and it is all portrayed to describe my feelings and thoughts at this time. I dont even think a psychiatrist would be able to crack out what all of this means. Only I know, and it's going to stay that way for personal reasons. There are also a few hidden things in the picture.

This may be featured in the coffee shop where i'm putting my art in June.

I'd appreciate any comments or critisizm, but keep in mind that crit isn't going to make me try and "improve" this. it's a finished piece. PLEASE try and give a meaningful comment.
